Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?
Browse through our large selection of ready-made ceramics. Pick out your colors and design ideas from our many sources, then have fun creating!

Do I need to call first?
Not unless you have a group of six or more, so we can save you a table.

Can I take the pottery home on the same day?
Most everyone prefers the gloss finish from firing the pottery. Yours will b ready in two to five days. We do a lot of shipping for our out-of-town guests (see question below).
We also have some acrylics on hand for use on figurines and on other non-functional pottery, and these can travel with you the same day.

What if I can't return to pick up the pottery?
We have made provisions for this - for a modest fee, we will double box and UPS your pottery home for you.

Will it be food safe?
Yes! You can be confident that our products are safe. We are a lead-free studio. With our ceramic glaze you can dishwash and microwave your pottery.

I don't know much about design and painting. Is it difficult?
No! It's easy to do and that's why we are so popular, even with children. We have a large supply of quality brushes, stencils, patterns , shape sponges and a knowledgeable instructor on hand to hep you with any questions you may have.

Will I be able to match up a color for a home accessory?
We have over 70 different colors including many of the current designer tints, so you'll be able to find the shade you want.

What do you charge?
Our $6.00 studio fee covers the glazing, firing, and use of our facility, as well as any instructions and equipment you need during your visit. You also have a large choice of items to paint, from $5.00 figurines to $55.00 serving platters.
